UCNA对中子$\beta$-不对称参数$A_0$的新结果

摘要

中子β\beta衰变不对称参数A0A_0定义了中子自旋与发射电子动量之间的关联,其决定了λ=gAgV\lambda=\frac{g_{A}}{g_{V}},即轴矢量与矢量弱耦合常数之比。UCNA实验位于洛斯阿拉莫斯中子科学中心的超冷中子设施,是首个利用超冷中子(UCN)测量此类关联系数的实验。在系统不确定度改善且统计量增加的条件下,我们报告新结果A0=0.12054(44)stat(68)systA_0 = -0.12054(44)_{\mathrm{stat}}(68)_{\mathrm{syst}},得出λgAgV=1.2783(22)\lambda\equiv \frac{g_{A}}{g_{V}}=-1.2783(22)。与先前UCNA结果合并并考虑相关系统不确定度后,得到A0=0.12015(34)stat(63)systA_0=-0.12015(34)_{\mathrm{stat}}(63)_{\mathrm{syst}}以及λgAgV=1.2772(20)\lambda\equiv \frac{g_{A}}{g_{V}}=-1.2772(20)
