Ke4衰变性质的高统计量测量

摘要

我们报告了对K+ -> pi+pi-e+nue (Ke4)衰变的新测量的实验细节和结果。实验865收集了超过40万个Ke4事件,背景极低。从这些数据中,提取了分支比率 (4.11+0.01+0.11)×105(4.11+-0.01+-0.11)\times 10^{-5},以及弱 hadronic 电流形式因子F、G和H的pi-pi不变质量依赖性,以及pi-pi散射的相位差delta00-delta11。利用基于分析性和手征对称性的约束,还获得了s波pi-pi散射长度a00一个相当准确的新值:a00=0.216+-0.013 (stat.)+-0.002(syst.)+-0.002(theor.)。
