摘要
凝溶胶蛋白的第二个结构域（G2）携带导致一种遗传性淀粉样变性的突变。凝溶胶蛋白的活性形式为 Ca2+ 结合态；它同时也是一类动态蛋白，因此结构生物学家常依赖于对孤立 G2 的研究。然而，迄今为止在比较研究中使用的野生型 G2 结构结合的是结晶学 Cd2+，以替代生理钙。在此，我们报道了 G2 与 Ca2+ 复合的野生型结构，突出了微妙的离子依赖差异。先前关于不同 G2 突变的研究结果也依据这些发现作了简要修订。
