Grothendieck–Serre 猜想预测：在正则局部环 上，约化群概形 下的每个一般平凡扭子都是平凡的。我们在 为拟分裂且 为非分歧的情形下解决了该猜想。使我们得以克服迄今将混合特征情形拒之门外之障碍的若干技术包括离散赋值环上的 Noether 正规化版本，以及混合特征下光滑相对曲线的合适展示引理，该引理借助切除与拼接 facilitates 向相对仿射直线的过渡。
