曲率线性泛函与螺旋蛋白质的统计学

摘要
球状蛋白质链的自由能被认为是定义在三维欧几里得空间光滑曲线上的泛函。从几何不变性的要求出发，结合螺旋蛋白质构象的基本事实和蛋白质链的动力学特征，我们能够以唯一的方式确定自由能泛函的精确形式。即，自由能密度应该是定义自由能泛函的曲线曲率的线性函数。该模型可用于，例如，蒙特卡洛模拟中穷举搜索蛋白质链的天然稳定态。
