摘要
任何多元分布都可以唯一地分解为边缘（单点）分布和一个称为连接函数的函数，该函数包含了分布之间相关性的所有信息。连接函数为分析大尺度结构中的密度场提供了一种重要的新方法。我们推导了演化暗物质密度场的经验二点连接函数。我们发现该经验连接函数可以用高斯连接函数很好地近似。我们考虑了完整n点连接函数也是高斯的可能性，并描述了该假设的一些后果。讨论了未来的研究方向。
