NEXT合作正在使用高压气体电致发光时间投影计数器来研究Xe的双beta衰变,这些装置提供出色的能量分辨率并伴随鲁�斯拓扑签名。 NEXT-100装置于西班牙塞尔卡拉斯坦索洞实验室(LSC)运行,继承了NEXT-White探测器的成功经验,于2024年5月开始调试,于2024年10月以4 bar的氙气开始运行。我们在此报告使用Kr衰变获得的首次结果,这些衰变允许对探测器在活跃体积中的响应进行映射并监测其随时间的稳定性。经过对光响应进行均匀化处理,我们在Kr点状能量沉积(位于半径425 mm内)处实现了4.37% FWHM的能量分辨率。对于位于10 bar下NEXT-100操作条件的 fiducial 区域,我们获得了改进的能量分辨率4.16% FWHM。这些结果与NEXT-White获得的结果良好一致,对的外推表明能量分辨率接近0.5% FWHM,远低于1% FWHM的设计目标。
