本简短说明补充了关于使用矩阵 Lambert W 函数进行线性时不变时滞系统稳定性分析的一项近期开发技术的若干结果。通过一个数值例子，我们证明了在某些情况下，无需使用该多值函数的主分支即可找到系统的主导根，这与该方法的主要命题相矛盾。
