ETHOS:一种用于虚拟现实社交互动的遇触类型力反馈显示器

我们提出了ETHOS(Encountered-Type Haptics for On-demand Social Interaction),一种动态遇触类型力反馈显示器(ETHD),其能够在虚拟现实(VR)中实现社交互动(如交接、拳击、击掌)时的自然物理接触。该系统集成了扭矩控制机器人机械臂、可更换的被动属性(硅胶手掌复制品和棒杖),通过ChArUco板实现基于标记的物理-虚拟配准,并配备安全监控器以根据用户的头部和手部姿态限制运动。我们引入了两种控制策略:(i)静态模式以呈现与其虚拟对应物对齐的固定属性,符合先前ETHD基准方法;(ii)动态模式通过指数平滑初始中间轨迹与实时手部跟踪,为每次互动生成唯一的接触点。基准测试显示静态对准准确度为5.09 +/- 0.94 mm,而用户互动实现了平均接触延迟为28.53 +/- 31.21 ms的时序对齐。这些结果表明在VR中重建具有社交意义的力反馈是可行的。通过融入essential safety和控制机制,ETHOS为虚拟环境中高保真度、动态人际互动奠定了实用基础。
