CDMSlite 运行 2 数据的有效场论分析

摘要

CDMSlite 运行 2 是一项利用 600 g 低温 Ge 探测器以高压模式运行来搜寻弱相互作用大质量粒子(WIMPs)的实验,该模式优化了其对 2 - 20 GeV/c2c^2 相对低质量 WIMPs 的灵敏度。在本文中,我们利用扩展的能量范围和对预期本底的全面处理,对 CDMSlite 运行 2 数据进行了有效场论(EFT)分析。对反冲能量数据进行了分箱似然贝叶斯分析,考虑了 EFT 相互作用的参数并针对主要本底成分优化数据选择。分析中移除了已知活化峰 5σ\sigma 范围内的能量区域。由不同算符假设得出的贝叶斯证据显示,CDMSlite 运行 2 数据与仅本底模型一致,且不允许在假设任何额外 EFT 相互作用下进行信号解释。因此,针对每个 EFT 算符给出了 WIMP 质量与耦合系数振幅及相位的上限。这些限制在 WIMP 质量高于 5 GeV/c2c^2 时改进了先前的 CDMSlite 运行 2 界限。
