CDMS II 首次五塔运行期的硅探测器结果

摘要

我们报告了利用 CDMS II 实验的硅探测器搜索弱相互作用大质量粒子(WIMPs)的结果。本报告描述了对 2006-2007 年使用 CDMS II 全套探测器获取的首批数据的盲分析;此前已展示了使用该 exposures 中锗探测器的结果。在分析 cuts 之前,我们在 55.9 kg·天的曝光量中未观察到候选 WIMP 散射事件,预期背景约为 1.1 个事件。对于理想硅探测器和质量为 10 GeV/c²的 WIMP,此分析的曝光量等效于在 7-100 keV 反冲能量范围内的 10.3 kg·天。这些数据将 10 GeV/c² WIMP 的 WIMP-核子自旋无关截面上限设定为 1.7x10⁻⁴¹ cm²。这些数据排除了与近期低质量 WIMP 搜索相关的自旋无关 WIMP-核子弹性散射参数空间。
