摘要
卡内基天文台阵列(CNAO)是一座地基观测站,旨在提升当前一代非常高能伽马射线仪器的灵敏度。萨克斯菲尔德-库德尔望远镜(SCT)是CTAO中型望远镜(MST)的双面镜候选设计。2019年在亚利桑那的弗雷德·劳伦斯·沃菲尔德观测站( FLWO) inaugurated了原型萨克斯菲尔德-库德尔望远镜(pSCT),并用部分装配好的相机观测到了显著的伽马射线来自鹰犬星云的信号。pSCT相机正在升级,以完全覆盖焦平面,装配11,328个硅光子多重脉冲(SiPM)像素,分为177个相机模组。此外,各模组将配备升级版电子设备,以降低电子干扰和噪声。开发了一种用于模块校准的程序。经校准后,性能测试显示,升级后的模组具有低噪声、最小电子干扰以及出色的电荷分辨率。经校准和优化后,将在pSCT相机中安装177个生产模组,以进行 commissioning。随后将观测已知的非常高能伽马射线源,以验证相机性能。
