切伦科夫望远镜阵列的原型史瓦西-库德望远镜:光学系统调试状态

摘要

切伦科夫望远镜阵列(CTA)由超过100台望远镜组成,将是史上最大的地基伽马射线天文台,预计在伽马射线探测灵敏度和能量覆盖范围上相较当代探测器有大幅提升。9.7米史瓦西-库德望远镜(SCT)是CTA中型望远镜(MST)设计的两种候选方案之一。这种新颖的无球差双镜SCT设计具有紧凑的焦面比例尺带来的宽视场,相较于传统的地基伽马射线望远镜单镜Davies-Cotton(DC)设计,可使用大量相机像素,从而改善角分辨率并降低每像素的夜空背景噪声。分段非球面镜的生产、安装与对准是实现SCT光学系统的主要挑战。本文中,我们报告了原型SCT光学系统在初始调试阶段的调试状态、对准流程与初步对准结果。
