东亚粗颗粒物空气质量:对细颗粒物硝酸盐的启示

粗颗粒物(PM)是东亚严重的空气污染问题。对华北平原和首尔都市圈空气质量网络观测的分析表明,其主要为人为来源,且在2015–2019年间下降了21%。这种人为粗PM通常未被纳入空气质量模型,但其清除硝酸以抑制细颗粒物(PM2.5)硝酸盐(PM2.5污染的主要贡献者)的形成。将其纳入GEOS-Chem模型可降低模拟的PM2.5硝酸盐,从而改善与观测的一致性。2015–2019年间人为粗PM的减少直接增加了夏季PM2.5硝酸盐,抵消了其他排放控制的效果,而在冬季则增加了PM2.5硝酸盐对氨和二氧化硫排放的敏感性。我们的工作表明,随着粗PM持续下降,需要更强的氨和氮氧化物排放控制以改善PM2.5空气质量。
