摘要
2004 年，Y. Hu 和 G. Xiao 引入了广义自收缩生成器，这是一种简单的比特流生成器，被视为收缩生成器的特例以及自收缩生成器的推广。作者猜想，广义自收缩序列族的最小周期取值于集合 {1, 2, 2**(L-1)} 中，其中 L 是生成器中包含的线性反馈移位寄存器的长度。在本通讯中，证明了此类生成序列的最小周期 exclusively 取值于该集合。作为此结果的直接推论，还分析了此类序列的其他特性（线性复杂度或伪随机性）及其在密码学中的潜在应用。
