本文处理了 Jleli 和 Samet 在 \cite[\, M.~Jleli 和 B.~Samet, On a new generalization of metric spaces, J. Fixed Point Theory Appl, 20(3) 2018]{JS1} 中提出的一个开放问题。在 \cite[\, Remark 5.1]{JS1} 中，他们询问 Cantor 交集定理是否能推广到 -度量空间。在本文中，我们对这一开放问题给出了肯定的回答。我们还证明了在 -度量空间背景下的紧致性和全有界性概念与通常度量空间中的相应概念是等价的。
