天空的大视场巡天探测了许多成团标量场——如星系计数、透镜势、气体压强等——它们对不同的宇宙学与天体物理过程敏感。我们从这些场约束此类过程的能力,关键取决于用于概括该场的统计量。本工作中,我们探索在多尺度下以累积分布函数(CDF)作为星系透镜收敛场的概括量。利用一套N体光锥模拟,我们表明CDF的约束能力略优于场的二阶与三阶矩,因为它们以简洁的数据向量近似捕获了场的所有矩的信息。随后,我们以暗能量巡天(DES Y3)前三年的数据为例,研究了将CDF应用于观测数据的实际方面,并计算了不同系统误差对CDF的影响。点扩散函数的贡献比宇宙学信号低2-3个数量级,而约化剪切近似的贡献为信号的。源成团效应与重子印迹贡献。强制尺度截断以限制系统误差驱动的参数约束偏差,会明显削弱这些约束,且这种削弱对CDF与矩而言相近。我们还以检测到观测收敛场与形状噪声场之间的关联。我们发现,必须精确建模噪声场中的非高斯关联,才能将CDF或其他对所有矩敏感的统计量作为严格的宇宙学工具使用。
