硅微strip探测器飞行模型梯子的束流测试表征

摘要

AMS-02 实验计划在现有探测器上方安装新的硅微strip跟踪器层(Layer-0),以提升宇宙射线的接受度,提升约3倍。Layer-0 采用多个硅微strip探测器(SSDs)串联组成长探测器梯子的设计。我们使用来自 CERN SPS 的 350 GeV 混合 hadron 束流,对飞行模型梯子进行详尽的性能研究。该研究聚焦于以下方面:(i)不同数量 SSDs 的梯子性能,其中在正常入射角下,由 8 到 12 个 SSDs 组成的梯子的本征空间分辨率分别为 9.5 μm9.5~\mu\mathrm{m}11.4 μm11.4~\mu\mathrm{m};(ii)粒子撞击梯子 \emph{Head} 与 \emph{Tail} 区域时的响应一致性;(iii)探测器性能随粒子入射角的依赖性。
