摘要
高功率光纤维信号表现出频谱展宽,似乎限制容量。为研究频谱展宽,推导了在简化光纤模型下给定输入信号时输出信号的自相关函数,该模型具有零色散、分布式光放大(OA)和理想空间噪声过程。自相关函数用于上限限定带限或时间分辨率受限接收机的输出功率,从而限定频谱展宽和具有热噪声的接收机容量。输出功率至多随发射功率的平方根缩放,因此容量至多随发射功率对数的二分之一缩放。传播信号带宽至少随发射功率的平方根缩放。然而,实践中OA带宽应超过信号带宽以补偿衰减。因此,存在一个发射功率阈值,超过该阈值光纤模型失去实际意义。尽管如此,对于数学模型,当OA带宽随发射功率平方根缩放时,发展了容量的上界,此时容量至多随发射功率的四次方根的倒数缩放。
