几乎稳定性定理的一个改进证明

摘要
1989 年，Dicks 与 Dunwoody 证明了几乎稳定性定理（Almost Stability Theorem），其推论包括 Stallings-Swan 定理，即上同调维数为一的群是自由群。本文中，我们利用 Bergman、Bowditch 与 Dunwoody 的一个嵌套性结果，在一定程度上简化几乎稳定性定理有限生成情形的证明。我们也简化了非有限生成情形的证明。此处给出的几乎稳定性定理证明本质上是自包含的，除非有限生成情形中我们指引读者参阅原始论证中关于群作用于树上两个技术引理的证明。
