摘要
非线性波相互作用影响陡波群的演化、破碎及其相关的运动学场。通过实验室实验研究了底层聚焦机制对破碎波形及其速度场的影响。研究发现，波谱形状起着重要作用。较宽的底层波谱会在相对较低的振幅处产生高能卷跃波。对于较窄的波谱，波在较高振幅处破碎，但伴随能量较低的崩碎波。与常用于预测极端波下方速度的标准工程方法进行比较表明，在某些条件下，测得的速度剖面与工程预测存在强烈偏差。
