摘要
高维同伦van Kampen定理允许将某些同伦不变量对粘合空间的计算表示为余极限。一个推论是用群胚上的诱导模和交叉模来描述临界维数中的同伦切除。本文展示了纤维范畴与余纤维范畴如何为讨论和计算此类构造提供一个总体框架，使得一个结果能够涵盖多种情况。一个有用的普遍结论是，纤维范畴的纤维嵌入保持连通余极限。主要的同伦应用是针对具有多个基点的空间对，但我们也简要描述了三元组的情况。
