摘要
在许多实际的增长网络中，每个顶点的平均连接数随时间增加。互联网、万维网、合作网络以及许多其他网络都显示了这种行为。这种生长可以称为"加速的"。我们指出，这种加速影响连接分布并可能决定网络的结构。我们讨论了加速的一般性后果，演示其特征时采用简单 illustrative 例子。特别是，我们表明，加速生长相当好地解释了万维网（人类语言中相互作用单词的网络）的结构。我们还使用加速网络生长模型来描述演化社会中丰富的凝聚态转变。
