我们考虑秘书问题的一个变体，其中候选人在面试时陈述其期望薪水，我们假设该薪水与其资质相符。雇主的目标是雇用最好或最差（最便宜）者，对两种情况无偏好。我们关注完全信息变体，以及申请者人数为服从均匀分布或参数为的泊松分布的随机变量的情况。此外，我们还研究了原问题的两个变体，其中我们考虑依赖于已进行面试次数的收益。
