二维电子气金属-绝热体相变的简明模型

摘要
我们提出了一个二维电子气的电静力学自洽势的初等模型。通过考虑电子从系统平面隧穿引起的垂直自由度，我们预测当载流子浓度超过阈值时，这一效应变得重要。预测的数值与最近在 SiO2-Si 和 AlGaAs-GaAs 异质结中观察到的从绝热体向准金属相的转变一致良好。
