摘要
我们展示了在边界约束下的薄片会自发产生一个普遍的自相似褶皱层级结构。基于简单的几何论证和能量标度，我们发展了一个以褶皱结（两个褶皱合并的过渡区）为全局图案构建模块的形式体系。与弹性能量集中的皱纸情况相反，这种过渡被描述为平滑的，这与最近的数值工作一致。该形式体系在从数百纳米的石墨烯片到数米的普通窗帘的尺度上得到了验证，这显示了我们的描述的普适性。最后，我们描述了外部张力对褶皱分布的影响。
