Vaidman, Phys.Rev. A 87, 052104 (2013) 提出了一种针对量子粒子过去的弱值判据，并将其应用于嵌套 Mach-Zehnder 干涉仪特定装置中的光子。基于其分析，他得出了关于光子占据装置哪些臂的惊人结论。我认为 Vaidman 在其分析中用作弱示踪剂的弱值在此情况下无法使用，因此他得出的结论不能成立。原因在于弱值定义为一种极限，而在此情况下该极限是不连续的。为此，我提出了一种弱平均值判据以规避这些缺陷。
