摘要
一个值得关注的问题是，如何刻画先验带入统计分析的信息量。我们并未提供一般性的刻画，而是提供了一种方法，用于刻画一个先验相对于另一个基准先验带入分析的信息量。基准先验被认为是能最好地反映当前可用信息的先验。因此，我们的目的是刻画那些可作为相对于基准先验的保守输入用于分析的先验。我们提供的刻画是基于先验-数据冲突的先验度量。
