摘要
本文利用一种广义的 Yang-Mills 协变导数——它同时使用矢量场与标量场，并作为与 Dirac 矩阵缩并的 4-矢量变换——来简化并统一 Glashow-Weinberg-Salam 模型。由于 SU(3) 赋予 Higgs boson 错误的超电荷，必须使用 U(3) 的一个特殊表示以获得所有正确的量子数。在此过程中出现了一个多余的规范标量玻色子，但它与所有其他粒子退耦。
