我们研究了 xi(2230) 介子作为 Pomeron 轨迹成员的可能性。提出了一种通过 Pomeron 留数函数将 xi --> p pbar 衰变宽度与 pp 截面联系起来的方法。我们使用了一个相对论性的、无奇点的形状因子来在交叉道之间进行留数函数的解析延拓。我们预测，如果 xi(2230) 介子是 Pomeron，那么它的 xi --> p pbar 衰变宽度应该约为 2 MeV。
