2019 年,Belle II 实验开始在日本高能加速器研究机构(KEK)运行于 Y(4S) 共振态的非对称 SuperKEKB 对撞机上采集数据。Belle II 将通过收集 50~ab 的积分亮度来寻找超越标准模型的新物理。硅顶点探测器(SVD)由四层双面硅条传感器组成,是两个顶点子探测器之一。SVD 以足够的精度将径迹外推至内部像素探测器(PXD),以正确识别 PXD 中属于该径迹的击中点。此外,SVD 具备独立径迹重建能力,并利用电离作用增强低动量区域的粒子鉴别。尽管暴露于迄今最高峰值亮度对撞机严苛的束流本底中,SVD 仍运行可靠且具有高效率。我们测量了高信噪比和击中效率以及空间分辨率;所有这些量随时间表现出优异的稳定性。近期通过对模拟的仔细调优,簇性质的数据-模拟一致性得到了改善。精确的击中时间分辨率可被用于剔除由束流本底引起的非定时击中,这将使 SVD 在面对更高水平的本底时更加稳健。在运行的前三年中,观测到了辐射损伤对条噪声、传感器电流和耗尽电压的影响,以及由于强烈辐射爆发导致的一些耦合电容失效。这些效应均未导致探测器性能的显著退化。
