摘要
HD 172481这颗异常F型巨星的二元伴星被证明是具有312天脉冲周期的Mira变量星。其特征在于该脉冲周期的孤立Mira星的正常范围内，尽管其脉冲幅度和质量损失率（M(dot)~3×10^{-6}太阳质量/年）高于平均值。给出诱因表明该F型巨星（其L~10^4太阳质量）是一颗燃烧从其伴星那里获得的氢的白矢星。
