CHIME/FRB 探测到的八个新重复快速射电暴源

我们报告利用加拿大氢强度映射实验(CHIME)望远镜发现的八个重复快速射电暴(FRB)源。这些源的色散量(DM)范围为 103.5 至 1281 pc cm。它们表现出不同程度的活动性:六个源被探测到两次,另三个三次,一个十次。这八个重复 FRB 很可能代表了低频重复源分布中明亮和/或高速率的一端。对所有源,我们确定了天空坐标,不确定度约为 10。FRB 180916.J0158+65 的爆发平均 DM = pc cm,且相对于建模银河系最大值的 DM 超出量很低(低至 20 pc cm);该源的法拉第旋转量(RM)为 rad m,远低于 FRB 121102 测得的 RM。FRB 181030.J1054+73 是具有最低 DM 的重复源, pc cm,DM 超出量约 70 pc cm。由于表观邻近性,这两个源都是多波段跟进观测的有趣目标。我们的重复源样本的 DM 分布与首批 12 个未重复的 CHIME/FRB 源的 DM 分布在统计上不可区分。我们以 4 显著性发现,重复爆发通常比未重复的 CHIME/FRB 爆发更宽,暗示不同的发射机制。我们的重复事件展现出复杂形态,令人联想到最早发现的两个重复 FRB。这些源的重复行为将使得干涉定位与后续宿主星系识别成为可能。
