CHIME/FRB发现的25个重复快速射电暴源

摘要

我们展示了在2019年9月30日至2021年5月1日之间探测到的CHIME/FRB事件中发现的25个新的重复快速射电暴(FRB)源。这些源是使用一种新的聚类算法找到的,该算法寻找天空中位置重合且具有相似色散量(DM)的多个事件。新的重复者DM范围从\sim220 pc cm3^{-3}\sim1700 pc cm3^{-3},包括仅表现出两次爆发到多达十二次爆发的源。我们报告了重复源与表观非重复源在DM和河外DM(eDM)分布上的统计显著差别,重复者具有更低的均值DM和eDM,并讨论了其含义。在修正灵敏度和曝光效应后,我们发现重复者的重复率与表观非重复源重复率上限之间无明确双峰性,尽管一些活跃的重复源作为异常值脱颖而出。我们测量了随时间的重复者比例,发现其在我们迄今总的天区观测时间内趋于2.62.6+2.92.6_{-2.6}^{+2.9}%的平衡。我们还报告了14个更有希望的重复FRB候选源,值得后续观测以确认。
