WMAP点源的高频射电偏振测量

摘要
我们报告了利用VLA对5年WMAP星表中通量强于1 Jy且赤纬大于-34度的河外源完备样本在8.4、22和43 GHz处进行的偏振测量。进行这些观测的动机是为了获知射电源在数十GHz频率处的偏振特性,以便为未来灵敏的宇宙微波背景(CMB)实验扣除偏振前景。总强度和偏振测量结果通常与较不变源的VLA校准测量结果一致,并且在未分辨源的情况下与WMAP流量处于相似范围内。后续论文将展示测量参数间的相关性,并推导其对CMB测量的影响。
