KM3NeT数字光学模块电源板:设计、升级与生产

KM3NeT合作组正在地中海海底建造一座水下中微子观测站,由两台中微子望远镜组成,每台均由称为数字光学模块的光探测器三维阵列构成。每个数字光学模块包含一组31个三英寸光电倍增管,分布于直径0.44 m耐压玻璃球表面。该模块还包括校准仪器以及用于供电、读出和数据采集的电子设备。电源板被开发用于为数字光学模块的所有元件供电。电源板的设计始于2013年,并制作和测试了若干原型。在KM3NeT合作组内多个实验室的详尽验证过程之后,开始了批量生产,迄今已制造超过1200块电源板。这些板卡已集成到已生产和部署的数字光学模块中,截至2023年10月为828个。2017年,为提高可靠性和效率,启动了电源板的升级。在预生产批次验证之后,目前正在进行800块升级板的批量生产。本文描述了电源板的设计、架构、升级、验证和生产,包括为确保其在地中海海底在整个观测站寿命期内安全运行为目的所进行的可靠性研究与测试。
