为第四次引力波观测运行做准备的GRANDMA网络

摘要

GRANDMA是一个全球合作项目,主要科学目标是研究引力波源、发现其电磁对应体并表征其辐射。GRANDMA涉及天文学家、天体物理学家、引力波物理学家和理论学家。GRANDMA如今是一个真正的全球望远镜网络,迄今在南北半球共有30台望远镜。它包含一个公民科学项目(Kilonova-Catcher),为传播对时域天文学的兴趣提供了契机。该望远镜网络是一组异构的已有观测设施,作为单一天文台协调运行。网络内有宽视场成像仪可观测大片天区以搜寻光学对应体,窄视场仪器可在预定义宿主星系候选列表中进行针对性搜寻,以及更大望远镜专门用于已识别对应体的表征与后随观测。在此我们介绍了LIGO/VIRGO引力波天文台第三次观测运行(2019–2020年)后GRANDMA的概况及其对即将到来的第四次观测活动(O4)的持续准备。此外,我们回顾了GRANDMA在发现与后随观测其他类型天文暂现源方面的潜力。
