摘要
我回顾了低红移场星系光学光度函数暗端的当前观测状况。越来越多的证据表明，矮星系的数量过剩，不能很好地用单一谢赫特函数拟合。这些矮星系倾向于具有晚型形态和光谱类型，颜色偏蓝，表面亮度低，并且目前正在经历显著的恒星形成。
