局部星系群星系的光度分布

通过对局部星系群成员资格以及对单个星系距离的重新讨论，我们获得了35个可能和可能的局部星系群成员的M_V值。这些对象的光度函数良好地采用带有暗区斜率α=-1.1±0.1的谢克函数拟合。局部星系群光度分布为单个谢克函数且α比-1.3更陡的概率小于1%。然而，更复杂的光度函数，如带有陡峭暗区斜率的多分量谢克函数，尚未被排除。局部星系群中矮围绕星系的光度分布比矮不规则星系的光度分布更陡，有些证据表明这一点。
