摘要
本文从 Amdahl 定律的角度研究温度对 3D 芯片多处理器（CMP）性能和可扩展性的影响。我们发现 3D CMP 可能在达到其最大功耗之前就达到其热极限。我们表明，即使在小规模 3D CMP 中，高并行度也可能导致高峰值温度，从而限制了 3D CMP 的可扩展性，并呼唤不同的、内存内计算架构。
