CRESST暗物质搜寻——现状与展望

摘要

过去几年,从理论和实验两方面,暗物质粒子搜寻的焦点已扩展到低质量区域。我们讨论了2013年使用单探测器TUM40获得的数据的结果。该探测器配备了新的升级版支撑方案,以有效屏蔽由表面α衰变引起的本底。该屏蔽、0.6keV的低阈值以及CaWO4_4靶晶体前所未有的本底水平,使TUM40成为CRESST-II第2阶段(2013年7月-2015年8月)综合性能最佳的探测器。低阈值分析使得研究轻暗物质粒子(<3GeV/c2^2)成为可能,这是其他直接探测实验此前无法触及的。
