CRESST-III实验关于低质量暗物质的首批结果

摘要

CRESST实验位于意大利格兰萨索国家实验室,通过暗物质粒子在靶材料中的弹性散射来搜寻暗物质粒子。CRESST靶由闪烁的CaWO4_4晶体组成,作为低温量热计在毫开尔文温度下运行。CaWO4_4靶晶体中的每次相互作用都会产生一个声子信号和一个由第二个低温量热计测量的光信号。自2015年CRESST-II结果以来,该实验一直引领着质量低于1.7\,GeV/c2c^2的暗物质直接搜寻领域,将直接搜寻的范围扩展到亚GeV/c2c^2质量区域。对于2016年7月启动第一阶段的CRESST-III,探测器已优化以达到进一步以空前灵敏度探测低质量区域所需的性能。本报告中将讨论CRESST-III探测器的成果以及第一阶段的初步结果和展望。
