在 CRESST-III 中使用铝酸锂靶测试自旋相关暗物质相互作用

摘要

在过去的几十年里,大量实验涌现以揭示暗物质的本质,这是现代粒子物理学中最受讨论的开放问题之一。其中,位于格兰萨索国家实验室的 CRESST 实验使用闪烁晶体作为低温声子探测器。在这项工作中,我们展示了 CRESST-III 中两个均具有 10.46 g LiAlO2_2 靶的探测器模块运行的初步结果。晶体中的锂含量为 6^6Li(具有奇数个质子和奇数个中子)和 7^7Li(具有奇数个质子)。通过考虑锂的两种同位素和 27^{27}Al,我们对质量区域在 0.25 至 1.5 GeV/c2^2 之间的暗物质与质子和中子的自旋相关相互作用设定了目前最强的截面上限。
