摘要
致力于低质量暗物质搜寻的CRESST-III实验使用闪烁CaWO晶体作为低温粒子探测器运行。本底甄别通过利用CaWO的闪烁光信号以及本文提出的一种新型主动探测器支架实现。在地面测试装置中,一个24g原型探测器达到了核反冲能量阈值eV,对应于在低噪声CRESST低温恒温器中运行时估计阈值约50eV。这是直接暗物质搜寻报道的最低阈值。对于CRESST-III第一阶段,十个此类探测器模块已安装于低温恒温器中,其有潜力显著提升对质量低至0.1GeV/c的暗物质粒子散射的灵敏度。
