GRB060418 和 GRB060607A 的余辉起始

伽马射线暴被认为是由高度相对论性外流产生的。尽管已有外流初始 Lorentz 因子 的上限和下限,但直接测定 的观测努力迄今尚未成功或提供了模糊的结果。事实上,早期余辉光变曲线的形状对 高度敏感, 决定了余辉峰值的时间,即外流与受激环暴物质拥有相当能量之时。我们现评论由 REM 机器人望远镜对 GRB 060418 和 GRB 060607A 的近红外余辉进行的早期观测。对于这两个事件,余辉峰值被单独识别出来,使我们能够确定初始火球 Lorentz 因子 。
