电泳后的蛋白质检测方法必须灵敏、均一，且不损害后续通过 MS 对蛋白质进行的分析。快速、低成本和用户友好也是其受青睐的特点。银染色结合了许多这些特点，但其与 MS 的兼容性有限。我们在此描述了一种完全无甲醛的银染色新变体。使用碱性硼酸盐缓冲液中的还原糖作为显影剂。在保持银染色优势的同时，该方法在 MS 兼容性方面表现出更好的性能，无论是在 MALDI 的 PMF 还是 LC/ESI/MS/MS 中均是如此。
