锗烯/Al(111)的结构：一种双层表面合金

摘要
与硅烯（其存在已通过大量独立研究得到证实）不同，外延生长锗烯的可能性仍极具争议。近期扫描隧道显微镜表明，在Al(111)上沉积Ge所形成的(3 x 3)表面重构呈现蜂窝结构，并被归因为纯锗烯单层。利用表面X射线衍射的定量测量并结合密度泛函理论计算，我们证明该Ge/Al(111) (3 x 3)重构实际上对应于顶层为混合Ge--Al蜂窝层、其下为合金化界面层的结构。锗烯单层位于Al(111)表面的模型可被完全排除。
