本文介绍了Stringesthesia，一种互动即兴表演范式。Stringesthesia使用实时神经成像连接表演者与观众，使其能直接获取表演者的心理状态，并决定表演过程中的观众参与。功能性近红外光谱（fNIRS）是一种非侵入式神经成像工具，用于评估与我们所称为信任的指标相关的大脑区域的代谢活动。代表表演者信任水平实时测量的可视化被投影在表演者身后，并用于动态限制或促进观众参与。在全文里，我们讨论了深刻影响我们设计的先前工作、使用fNIRS技术的概念与方法论问题、系统架构，以及来自观众和表演者的反馈。
