摘要
我们正在构建一个飓风数量预测方案，该方案部分依赖于对大西洋海表温度与登陆飓风数量之间经验关系的统计建模。我们使用1900年至2005年以及1950年至2005年的数据，针对所有飓风数量和强飓风数量，检验了该关系的若干简单统计模型。结果与海盆飓风数量的相应分析有很大不同。
