大西洋流域每年飓风数量的时间序列在 1994 与 1995 年间显示出明显的水平变化。然而,美国登陆飓风数量的时间序列并未显示同样的明显水平变化。鉴于登陆飓风是流域飓风的子集,这表面上看相当令人惊讶。我们研究了这究竟是否真的应被视为惊讶,还是说这一变点在登陆处消失存在简单的统计学解释。
